In its first international F&B project - MASTI Dubai, Studio Lotus brings a strikingly vibrant expression that uses Indian artisanal craft to populate a contemporary shell in the exciting new La Mer district in Dubai. The restaurant has captured Dubai’s imagination since it opened and is spread across 8,000-sqft and two floors. The experience of New India is manifested with whimsical elements like the handcrafted stained-glass elephant bar, inlayed marble games tables and custom-designed handcrafted millwork and furniture and bespoke textiles.
A rich collaboration between Indian and international experts includes Meraki & Modus for concept development, Mangrove Collective for millwork and furniture, Toile Indienne for bespoke fabrics and AKFD Studio for stained glass, decorative lighting and other millwork.
